School Camps
Wombat Corner' is an ideal location for school camps. The close proximity to Melbourne reduces the time and cost of travel and gives you maximum time on the property. The outdoor set up of the camp makes supervision easy and the wide range of different activities enables you to plan an exciting and stimulating program with numerous opportunities for new experiences and learning outcomes. As teachers ourselves we know how busy you are, so we make the planning and running of an educational or recreational based camp as easy as possible. We have a program coordinator who will assist you in running your program and ensure that everything goes smoothly. We provide you with all the material you need to plan your camp which includes a School Information CD. Select the pages you want, print and the work is done! The CD contains information for staff covering notes on all activities (great for school council), camp layout, phone numbers etc iare also provided. Our program coordinator can suggest programs suited to your needs and can organise your bookings for Puffing Billy. Early Week Special 2009These camps give you two full days at Wombat Corner. Arrive on Monday and depart by 10am Wednesday. We will provide a picnic lunch on Wednesday and book you into Puffing Billy or visit to Macclesfield Trout Farm for an exciting finale to camp. A picnic lunch on Wednesday is also supplied. Winter SpecialsJune,July & August Dates - TOO COLD!!! - THINK AGAIN with central heating, open fires, camp fires, lots of indoor space with activities and heating in bedrooms it's the ideal time to take a break from the monotony of school work.
